The AKP1224 is a dual-function CNC machine that combines a CNC router (with a 1.5 kW water-cooled spindle) for engraving/cutting non-metal materials and a plasma cutting head for cutting metal materials.
Standard working area is 1200 x 2400 mm. Other optional sizes include 1500 x 3000, 1300 x 2500, 2000 x 3000, and 2000 x 4000 mm.
The machine uses a sawtooth table for plasma cutting and a T-slot table for CNC router operations.
The plasma cutting system uses StartFire control and the router uses Mach3. Supported software includes FASTCAM and AutoCAD, and the machine accepts standard G-code files via USB.
The machine uses stepper motors with Leadshine drivers and high-quality Taiwan Hiwin linear rails for accurate motion.
As a router it can cut/engrave non-metal materials like wood, acrylic, and fabric. As a plasma cutter it can cut metals such as aluminum, copper, iron, carbon steel, and stainless steel.
It comes with a 1.5 kW water-cooled spindle for router tasks and a dedicated plasma cutting head for metal cutting.
Standard power is 380V, 3-phase, 50/60 Hz. A 220V option is available. Recommended operating temperature is 0–45°C with 5–95% relative humidity.
The machine is designed for high-precision milling and cutting. Actual precision depends on configuration (rails, drivers, tooling), calibration, material, and cutting parameters.
The machine integrates both tool heads. Use Mach3 and the router spindle for non-metal operations and StartFire with the plasma head for metal cutting. Tool/head changes and control switching are handled per operation—follow the user manual for safe changeover procedures.
Optional accessories include a rotary attachment for cylindrical work and a servo motor upgrade for higher speed/torque performance.
Regular maintenance includes checking and lubricating rails/ball screws, inspecting/changing plasma consumables (tips, electrodes), maintaining the spindle cooling system and belts, and keeping the machine clean and correctly aligned. Follow the provided maintenance schedule in the manual.
The machine includes an 18-month guarantee. Technical support and spare parts are available—contact your supplier for after-sales service and troubleshooting.
The AKP1224 is packed in a standard export plywood case. Typical delivery time is 9–12 working days, subject to order volume and shipping destination.
Maximum cutting thickness depends on the plasma power source and consumables used. For exact thickness capabilities, provide the intended material and thickness range to the supplier so they can recommend the appropriate plasma power configuration.
