Here at Afrimart Online we want all our clients to be happy and content with their purchase and as such, our returns policy is in full compliance with the Terms of Sale and in accordance to the Electronic Communications and Transactions (ECT) Act 25 of 2002. As the consumer, you are entitled to lodge an exchange, return, or cancellation of your purchases within 7 days of delivery under the following circumstances.

 

Returns of Non-defective Products

  • The item must be returned within 7 days of the item being delivered by the client.
  • The product must be in an unused condition.
  • Product must be in its original, undamaged, full packaging. Any scratch marks or damaged products will be rejected for returns.
  • Packaging must be in full as it was originally received by the client including accessories, chargers, user manuals, etc.
  • A 10% restocking fee will be charged on all non-defective returns

Please note that the client and not Afrimart.co.za must cover the courier fees for returns of such nature.

 

Exchanges

Once a purchase has been made, the product can be exchanged for a different size, colour, or model provided that the preferred size or colour is available. Alternatively the purchased product can be exchanged with a completely different product, provided that the product is still in an unused and sealable condition with there being no scratch marks or any other alterations that could have been caused by the buyer, thereafter the price difference, if any, on the returned product compared to the preferred product will be settled accordingly.

It’s important that any unwanted product, unless faulty, is returned in a re-saleable condition. We’d expect this to mean that you’ve kept all original packaging and labels, and that the product is undamaged and unused.

We reserve the right to refuse an exchange if products are returned damaged, or not in a saleable condition based on the reason given to us for the exchange. Therefore, it is important to take extra precaution before purchasing a product on our website.

 

Defective or Damaged Products Returns:

Please take note that before any order is dispatched all our products are thoroughly checked for any damages originating from the shipments we receive from the manufactures therefore we do not dispatch products to a consumer if we deem the product to be faulty or damaged.

Although we do our best to ensure that the products we deliver to you are of a high quality, we make use of third party courier companies for all our deliveries. This may lead to mishandling of your order at any stage between the order leaving our premises to the order’s arrival at your destination hence we strongly recommend that you check the condition of the packaging and the product on reception, if the packaging seal is broken, the packaging itself is damaged, or the product is damaged, please refuse to receive the delivery from the courier company. Alternatively if a product which is DOA (Dead On Arrival) in any manner, being defective or damaged, please notify us immediately within 24hours of the delivery.

If the product is not found to be defective or damaged, you will NOT be entitled to any replacement or credit, but will instead be liable for the costs incurred in having such a product returned to us, and then redelivered to you.

 

Refunds

Once a product has been returned within the necessary conditions of our returns policy, you can get a refund of the original invoice value of the products with a 10% of the original amount deducted for restocking charges. All refunds are done via electronic transactions to the buyers account.
