The vibrating fork type level switch working principle is simple and effective.  This makes vibrating fork type level switches (a.k.a. tuning fork type level switches) reliable, cost effective and very popular for use in detecting the presence or absence of liquids and bulk solid materials.  The vibrating fork type level switch working principle is based upon detecting the change in harmonic vibration frequency of the sensing element as a result of the presence of the target media.

Wiring

Setting Guide: 1)Insert the fork into the medium to be measured about 10mm depth, Press the button “SET” until red and greed LEDS blink alternatively for at least 2 times, then release the button “SET”, now red LED blinks, then press the button “SET”, red and greed LEDS blinks alternatively then both on. 2)Remove the fork from the medium, green LED on, and red LED off (NC is closed with COM, NO and COM are opened), now insert the fork into the medium again, Both LEDs are ON, (NO is closed with COM, NC and COM are opened). Now setting are finished. Notice: Default density is set for water: 1g/cm³, If the target medium density ≥ 1g/cm³, Self-Checking is not necessary. Self-Checking is necessary when the target medium density < 1g/cm³.Default Sensitivity is the highest, for material that have irregular surface and fluctuate, please set lower Sensitivity.Avoid to install in the position that vibrate drastically.
