FAQ
1. We have two units and one receiver blinks blue after it sounds the arm. What does this mean?
When the sensor detects movement, the corresponding receiver will blink blue.
2. How do you change chime? It says in description that there is 4 chimes to choose from.
There are four channel option at the bottom of sensor,it means when the corresponding sensor is triggered,the receiver will
produce a unique tone different other 3 sensors.
3. Does it have to be indirect sunlight? If so, for how long during the day? Will it charge in shade or partial shade?
Hi, it will charge in different weather even raining days.It does not have to be in direct sunlight. Please charge the battery
before mounting the PIR motion sensor initially,. then please install it outside, the solar panel will charge itself.
4. What frequency does the transmitter use?
Hello. Thank you for your questions.The frequency of transmitter is 433.92MHz.
5. Can you turn off receiver or sensor?
Yes, of course, you could turn off the receiver or sensor by press the power button.
6. What is the second sensor that works with this one?
The unit can add multi sensors, so there is no problem for the second sensor to work with this one.
7. Question: can you charge the Solar Battery with a battery pack instead of plugging it in the wall??
The solar sensor could be powered by sunlight instead of plugging it in the wall.
8. How long will the sensor battery last if the photovoltaic surface is covered with snow?
Please charge the sensor battery before mounting outside , when you charge the blue light on ,after fully charged, the blue light
will be off. Then the battery could last at least a year even the photo voltaic surface is covered with snow. The battery could
charge in different weather.
9. Does it work with metal siding house?
Hello,it could not work with metal siding house because the metal will affect the detection range.
