The Small Chain Trencher 15HP supports three adjustable trench depths: 200 mm, 400 mm, and 600 mm.
It is powered by a 15 HP gasoline engine. Use the fuel and oil types recommended in the operator manual.
The trencher cuts a trench width of 100 mm.
The chain speed is 550 m/min and the chain is fitted with 27 carbide alloy blades for efficient cutting and long wear life.
The unit weighs 195 kg. Overall dimensions are 1600 mm (L) × 750 mm (W) × 800 mm (H). Package size is 1160 × 760 × 800 mm.
It is designed for field construction, landscaping, garden preparation, utility installation (cables and pipes), and general excavation where narrow trenches are required.
Depth selection is via the machine's adjustable depth control—set to 200 mm, 400 mm, or 600 mm according to the job. Always stop the engine and consult the operator manual for the exact adjustment procedure and safety steps.
It handles most soils encountered in landscaping and utility work (topsoil, compacted soil, clay, light rocky soils). Extremely hard rock, large boulders or heavily root-bound ground may require pre-clearing or a different machine.
Regular maintenance includes checking and tensioning the chain, inspecting and replacing worn carbide blades, changing engine oil and air filters per the manual, checking fuel system and bolts, and lubricating pivot points. Perform pre-start inspections before each use.
Always stop the engine, remove the spark plug lead, and use proper PPE. Remove the chain guard per the manual, loosen the chain, replace worn carbide teeth or the chain as specified, then re-tension and test at low speed. Follow the detailed instructions in the service manual or contact the supplier for replacement parts.
Operators should wear eye, hearing, hand and foot protection, avoid loose clothing, maintain a safe distance from the cutting chain, never trench undercut or enter trenches without shoring, and only operate the machine after training and reading the operator manual.
For transport use a trailer or truck rated for the 195 kg weight and secure the machine. Use ramps or a forklift with appropriate lifting points. For long-term storage, clean the machine, drain or stabilize fuel, disconnect the spark plug, and store in a dry covered area.
The product carries TUV Rheinland and CE certifications. Warranty details are not listed in the product sheet—contact the seller or distributor for specific warranty terms and coverage.
The unit includes flexible depth settings as standard. For other accessories (different chain types, extension options, transport carts, spare blade kits), contact the supplier or dealer for availability and compatibility.
Chain speed is 550 m/min, but actual production (linear meters per hour) depends on soil type, depth, operator skill and site conditions. Perform a small test run to estimate job-specific productivity.
