Double Roller Crusher
The double roller crusher is also known as a roll crusher or double teeth roll crusher. This crusher is widely used in industries such as cement, chemical, electric power, mining, building materials, and metallurgy for rough and intermediate crushing of brittle materials. The rolls are made of high manganese steel, allowing them to withstand heat treatment for greater durability. The crusher is suitable for materials with a compressive strength of less than 160 MPa, and it can control the output particle size, making it ideal for crushing materials like limestone, granite, and gravel.
Working Principle:
The materials to be crushed fall into the gap between two counter-rotating rolls. Once squeezed, the crushed materials are discharged naturally. If hard or uncrushable materials enter, the rolls automatically retract, increasing the gap and allowing the uncrushed materials to fall out, protecting the crusher from damage. By adjusting the gap between the rolls, the maximum discharge size can be controlled.
