By evaporating the solvent and condensing it to collect it, high-value solvents can be recovered, reducing the cost and environmental impact of chemical laboratories.Concentration and extract preparation: Rotary evaporators can be used to concentrate liquid samples to a desired concentration, such as concentrating a reaction mixture into a solid substance or preparing a concentrated pharmaceutical extract.Solvent exchange: Rotary evaporators can be used to replace a solvent from one solution with another.
