It is a dry-mix shotcrete (guniting) machine designed for rapid, efficient spraying of dry cementitious mixes for construction, repair, reinforcement, tunneling, walls, foundations and other large-scale concrete spraying tasks.
This is a dry-mix shotcrete machine. It meters and conveys dry mix to the nozzle where water is added at the nozzle for spraying (not intended as a wet-mix pump unless specified by the manufacturer).
Maximum conveying distance is 100 meters. Actual effective distance will depend on mix properties, hose layout, nozzle size and operator technique.
The machine handles aggregate sizes up to 20 mm. Use properly graded material to avoid blockages and wear.
Hose inner diameter is 51 mm. The machine weight is 600 kg.
Power rating is 5.5 kW and standard voltage is 380 V. The machine is available with either an electric drive or a pneumatic drive (engine type selectable at order).
Blast consumption refers to the compressed air volume used for conveying and blasting at the nozzle, typically 7–15 m3/h. For the pneumatic version ensure your air supply/compressor meets this flow; consult the supplier for recommended pressure and compressor sizing.
It is suitable for dry cement-based shotcrete mixes, repair mortars and other dry powder cementitious materials with aggregate up to 20 mm. Use of large fibers or oversized aggregate may cause blockages—test mixes before full-scale use.
At 600 kg the unit requires mechanical handling for transport (forklift, crane or pallet jack depending on site). It can be moved on-site with suitable lifting equipment; optional skids or trailers may be available from the supplier.
Daily cleaning of hopper, feed tube, hoses and nozzle; inspect and replace wear parts (nozzle, feed tube, hose liner) as needed; lubricate moving parts per the maintenance schedule; check electrical/pneumatic connections and seals regularly.
A comprehensive machinery test report is provided with the unit. Spare parts and after-sales service are typically available—contact the supplier or dealer for parts lists, lead times and service agreements.
Operators should be trained in shotcrete application, wear appropriate PPE (respiratory protection, eye/face protection, hearing protection, gloves, protective clothing), secure hoses, maintain safe distances, ensure good ventilation in confined spaces and follow lockout/tagout and electrical safety procedures.
It can spray mixes containing short, well-dispersed fibers if fiber length and dosage are compatible with the 20 mm aggregate limit and 51 mm hose. Fibers can increase blockage and wear—run trials and consult the supplier for recommended fiber types and dosing.
Longer conveying distances, many bends, smaller hoses or undersized nozzles reduce throughput and increase wear. Keep hose runs as straight and short as practical, use the recommended 51 mm hose and appropriate nozzle sizes, and adjust air/blast settings to maintain consistent conveying and spray quality.
The unit comes with a comprehensive machinery test report. Installation, operation and maintenance manuals, parts lists and safety instructions are typically included—confirm exact documentation with the supplier at purchase.
