The Electric Trolley Underground Mining Locomotive uses a DC electrical line that is transformed into three-phase AC via a computer-controlled traction transformer, enabling variable voltage and frequency adjustments. This technology drives two AC asynchronous motors that operate the locomotive through a reduction gear driving axle. With core parts such as the traction transformer featuring 32 digital DSP chips, this locomotive delivers high speed and quick response, making it efficient and reliable for a range of industrial applications.
Ideal for narrow rail transportation in fields like coal mining, metallurgical industries, forest operations, and tunnel construction, this electric trolley locomotive is designed for use at elevations of up to 2000m in metal mines or non-hazardous areas. It offers excellent performance and low maintenance, avoiding issues such as ring fires or motor burnout typically seen in DC-driven locomotives.
