The Square Retort Sterilizer is an industrial steam sterilization (retort) machine designed to sterilize pouches, canned foods and bottles. It is built for high productivity, adjustable power settings and easy operation and maintenance for food processing plants.
It is suitable for sterilizing flexible pouches, metal cans, glass and plastic bottles and many types of ready-to-eat meals and sauces. Compatibility depends on product geometry and loading configuration.
The machine uses steam retort sterilization supplied by a steam boiler system to achieve the target sterilization temperature and pressure.
The retort is designed to operate at 130–150 °C and a design pressure of 0.5–0.75 MPa.
The unit is available for 220 V or 380 V supply. Power is described as adjustable to meet different processing needs; exact electrical power consumption depends on selected configuration and operating cycle.
Key structural materials are stainless steel SUS304 for food-contact parts and Q235B carbon steel where appropriate, providing robust construction and corrosion resistance where required.
Overall dimensions are 3500 × 1400 × 2000 mm (L × W × H) and the unit weight is approximately 8 tons.
Throughput depends on product size, pack count per load, sterilization cycle parameters and loading pattern. Please provide product details (pack size, fills per rack) so we can estimate throughput for your application.
Cycle time varies widely with product thermal requirements, F-value targets and load. It can range from tens of minutes to several hours. We recommend thermal validation testing to determine the correct cycle for your product.
The retort requires a level, load-bearing foundation capable of supporting the 8-ton weight plus dynamic loads during operation, proper steam and condensate piping, electrical connection (220/380 V) and adequate ventilation. Exact civil and utility requirements will be provided with installation drawings.
The machine is designed for easy maintenance. Routine tasks include steam system inspections, gasket and valve checks, cleaning of internal chambers, and periodic inspection of control components. Follow the supplied maintenance schedule and sanitation procedures. CIP compatibility should be confirmed if required.
Standard safety features include pressure and temperature monitoring, safety relief valves, interlocks on doors, and emergency stops. Specific safety options and alarms can be discussed for your installation.
Yes. Power settings, loading racks, trays, control programs and certain mechanical features can be customized to suit specific packaging types and process requirements. Provide product and process details for a tailored quote.
Supply ability is up to 8 sets per month. Lead time depends on order size, customization and shipping; contact sales for current lead-time estimates for your configuration.
We offer technical support, spare parts, and operator training. Warranty, spare parts packages and on-site commissioning services are available—details and terms will be provided in the sales agreement.
