1. coal gasifier is the process of producing coal gas, a type of syngas–a mixture of carbon monoxide (CO), hydrogen (H2), carbon dioxide (CO2) and water vapour (H2O)–from coal and water. Coal gas, which is a combustible gas, was traditionally used as a source of energy for municipal lighting and heat before the advent of industrial-scale production of natural gas, while the hydrogen obtained from gasification can be used for various purposes such as making ammonia, powering a hydrogen economy, or upgrading fossil fuels. Alternatively, the coal gas (also known as "town gas") can be converted into transportation fuels such as gasoline and diesel through additional treatment via the Fischer-Tropsch process.
Coal gasifier is equipment which supplies the mixed gas to the heat process workshop workshop in the field of machinery, metallurgy, building materials, light industry, chemical, and refractory. Coal gasifier is equipment of adding coal, it adopt double clocks which can load the coal automatically, and wet ash tray which can get rid of the slag automatically. The drive equipment of Furnace grate mechanical drive are all designed in the outside, so it has features like reliable operation, easy installation and maintenance.Water jacket of the gasifier and the steam drum are bot lo pressure equipment, they all designed through the intensity calculation, they are manufactured with the strict requirement. Before delivery, the product should be checked carefully in order to control the quality. The stream generated by the gasifier is used to blowing the win in the bottom and supply the pressure of poking hole and stream seal in the roof, by doing this, additional team is not necessary in the production, then the energy consumption is reduced.
The basic chemical reaction of coal gasification
After the furnace gas is formed by vapor-air mixture flowing through the gasifying agent hot bed stationary combustion generated. The reaction of oxygen and carbon contained in the air and fuel vapor generated containing CO, CO2, H2, CH4 , C2H4, N2 and other components of the producer gas.
Steam with carbon reaction is endothermic: C + H2O à CO + H2
oxygen and carbon reaction to release heat 2C + O2 à 2CO
Carbon monoxide react with steam: CO + H2O à CO2 + H2
Here some of the steam also with CO reaction, because each time the volume of CO into CO2, while generating the same volume of H2.
In the reduced layer, will occur when the temperature is lower than 1200 ℃ rapid response below:
CO2 + C à 2CO and H2O +C à H2 +CO
When the gas by reducing layers of combustible gas content rose rapidly, while CO2 and water vapor content decreased. By reducing zone, the part of the gas output, passing through the bottom of the cyclone and the air cooler, this part of the gas is called "bottom gas", around which a temperature of about 400-550 ℃.
In the distillation section, coal furnace was added, followed by drying, preheating and dry distillation, steam generation, tar fog and gas, together with the output from the top of the furnace, this part of the gas as "top gas", which at temperature of about 100-120 ℃.
