CTB Series Wet Drum Permanent Magnetic Separator for Iron Ore
The CTB Series Wet Drum Permanent Magnetic Separator is designed for use in a variety of mining operations, including coal preparation and iron ore processing. This equipment utilizes a weak wet magnetic field to sort out strong magnetic ores or eliminate strong magnetic minerals mixed with non-magnetic ores.
It is suitable for minerals like magnetite, pyrrhotite, roasting ore, ilmenite, and other materials with a particle size of 3mm or less. Additionally, the separator is widely used for iron removal in coal, non-metallic minerals, and building materials.

Working Principle:
The magnetic separator operates by passing the ore pulp through a magnetic field. Ferromagnetic materials are attracted to the surface of the drum, while non-magnetic minerals are washed away by water. The magnetic minerals adhere to the drum surface and are rotated out of the magnetic field area. The rotary version is suitable for dry separation of fine particles, while the fixed version works effectively for fine particle separation in weak magnetic fields.
